There's Fire Whiskey In The Jar! [Roisin > Yao > Romulus > Aleta > Guinevere]

In the years she had spent employed at Hogwarts, Roisin had developed a very deep and abiding love. It was the kind that she didn't bother to try and hide. It drew her back again and again, even over the summers. Although she longed for her dear Irish home almost constantly while she was away, she was always drawn back to Scotland to once again bask in her love.

Yes, it was true. Rosy was very much in love with the Hogshead Inn. She didn't even try to deny it.

That's why a pleasant warmth settled in her as she took a seat at her usual table, a stein of Fire Whiskey in her hand and her tab opened. Today she would be sharing her love with the other esteemed professors of Hogwarts as they came together for a casual outing. After all the stressors of the week, they deserved some time to unwind.

So Rosy smiled to herself as she waited for the others and took a drink.

Yao didn't make a habit of going out drinking, and he hadn't visited the Hog's Head Inn all that often, despite his many years working in its vicinity, but if there was one thing he couldn't resist it was the opportunity to be out celebrating something, anything, in a large group of loud and generally festive people.

Besides, he told himself in an attempt justify leaving all that unmarked homework back on his desk, it would have been rude to turn down another professor's invitation- I don't want to distance myself from my colleagues and create ill-feeling!

The harsh, late Autumn winds beating mercilessly through his coat made the sudden warmth of the pub all the more comforting and inviting (despite the pervading smell of grime and, inexplicably, goats). He quickly shut the door behind him, preventing the gale from following him inside, and made his way to the bar, hair windswept and cheeks glowing from the cold. He knew the expectation at a pub was to drink alcohol, but the idea of walking back to Hogwarts through the cold and wind (and possibly rain, by the looks of the sky) while intoxicated was not an appealing one. He settled for a pumpkin juice and found his colleague's table. He liked Professor Roisin, especially since she seemed to be one of the few people at the school even marginally shorter than he was.
"Good evening!" he smiled cheerily, taking a seat next to hers and undoing the knotted buttons on his coat, already feeling the overpowering heat of the nearby fireplace.

The chill in the air and the unmistakeable scent of autumn welcomed the Italian man as he walked around Hogsmeade searching for the Hog's Head Inn's unmistakeable homey front entrance. Romulus Vargas would never get used to the cold of Scotland but is was refreshing a feeling though he didn't like having to bundle up in a scarf and coat. He sneezed a few times into a handkerchief, vaguely wondering if this was the reaction to the first time he was so chilled in a long time or he caught a cold from his students. However, nothing was going to keep him from the first real social outing for all the staff of Hogwarts for the year.

He really didn't get too good of a chance to associate with the senior members of the staff {it was odd thinking of the other teachers as his seniors as he was a generation older than most of them} and he was truly looking forward to it. Eating, drinking and being merry is the essence of his very existence! Speaking of drinking, he hadn't gotten to properly do so in a while. Sure, he had wine in his quarters after baths but it wasn't the same atmosphere!

Romulus arrived at the entrance of the inn, smiling at the hideously charming sign before running a hand through his hair to tame it from the wind. As he entered, the brunette loosened his scarf and grabbed a drink from the bar {which he may or may not have accidentally liberated from another patron who, in his defense, had no business drinking} and tried to find his colleagues. It took no time at all the spot the bright scarlet hair of the Charms teacher and the short Chinese man who was next to her. he gave them both a bright grin. "Hello there~!" No one could say he wasn't friendly.

Bad things often happened when Guinevere mixed with alcohol, as she well knew. She couldn't take her liqour as well as her dear cousin Rosin, who was basically a borderline alcoholic. However, she did like it and well, a chance to catch up with her cousin and get to know a few of the other teachers? Well, she couldn't resist. She remembered the Hogshead from school; a rather dirty pub which was often frequented by the younger years hoping to sneak an illegal firewhiskey or two when they decided Butterbeer wouldn't cut it.

She walked in to the inn, which hadn't really changed since she had been a teenager; the same dusty tables and dodgy crowd, even the same barman behind the counter, although he was older now. She noticed the teachers and went over, noticing that she was the last to arrive of their party. "Hello!" She said brightly, sitting down and removing her gloves. One good thing about the Hogshead was that it was always warm, there was always a fire in the grate. "How is everyone?"She asked. She would probably just order herself a butterbeer, best not to get too drunk.
