Guinevere hadn't taken the job at Hogwarts because Arthur was here, contrary to what some people may thing. In fact, it had been an argument against it; she hadn't wanted to make it difficult for her nephew (and also her niece or... second cousin, whatever Anne technically was.) because it would be a) embarassing and b) she didn't want anyone to claim she was showing favouritism, which, she knew she actually might.
But, it was nice to be near her family and today, she wanted to visit Arthur. She went in to the slytherin common room and looked around. Huh, so this was what it looked like - she hadn't been in there as a student, being a Gryffindor; the mortal enemy of the student. Of course, she had gotten over the juvenile notion of houses. She wondered if Arthur had as well... she had heard rumors, only rumours of course, that he was dating Alfred, one of the Gryffindor exchange boys. They were only rumors of course and she wanted to know if they were true. She'd missed a lot of his life, having worked in Europe for close to ten years. She had seen him at family gatherings and Christmases.
She finally spied Arthur, and went over to him "Surprise, Arthur." She grinned, going over, "And how're you?" She dropped down beside him, stretching. "We haven't had the chance to catch up since I got here. She smiled. They had a lot to catch up on.
