Raivis was never the most careful of people. In fact, he was a very clumsy person. It wasn't like he simply didn't pay enough attention to his surroundings, it was just...he got nervous, and forgot to be careful! He'd tried explaining that to people before, but it hadn't quite made sense to anyone but himself. Raivis found most people didn't understand his logic...which, yeah, got old, but he dealt with it, embraced it even, as him just being...unique! Raivis knew his way of blurting out things and running into walls was just an idiosyncrasy. Exactly like flying his broom into the school was a quirk of his!

Raivis was casually flying his broom around, simply just to fly. He liked to just feel the cool, fresh air against his skin, and he liked to watch the way his cloak fluttered slightly in the wind. Staring back to watch the trail of his cloak though, turned out to be a very bad idea when he smushed himself into the side of the school and fell a good 20 feet. After landing in a bush and blacking out for a bit, Raivis awoke to the sound of snickering peers, and could feel himself being carried away from the crash site. Raivis, as he would find, was no opponent to the wall, and had lost that battle.

Now, he found himself sitting in the Hospital Wing, keeping to himself for the day. He was lucky and hadn't been hurt to badly; scratched, bruise, and a bit shaken up, but he was fine. The nurse had told him to rest in there for the rest of the day, and Raivis wasn't about to disobey her. It was a good chance to relax, anyway...that was, it would be if he had a book. But he didn't. So, Raivis just laid back and poked at a bandage on his arm, flinching at the sting of pain it gave him. He sort of wanted to leave, but, Raivis tried to listen to what he was told, and planned to stay there.

Guinevere, as the potions teacher, had many jobs around the school, apart from teaching. She was used as a manufacturer of potions; making cleaning potions for the house elves and the such like, or more commonly, making potions for the hospital wing, and they needed a lot of potions. A school filled with trick staircases, poorly heated and just full of rowdy kids and moody teenagers, had a high demand for potions, from headache potions to ones to dealing with PMS to pepper up potions so Guinevere rarely had time off from brewing, not that she minded.

Today, in particular, she had to bring a large box of pepper up potions to the hospital wing, which were poised and ready for the coming of the flu season. She hummed cheerfully to herself, managing, somehow, to force the door open with her hip, here arms full with the two boxes of potions she was carrying. That was her sole complaint with the pepper up potion; it was somewhat volatile, it could be too easily modified if one were to cast the wrong spell on it, so she couldn't floo it to the hospital wing as she often did, and she couldn't even levitate it.

She noticed a boy on one of the beds, looking somewhat bored actually. That was Mr Galante, a well meaning student, if she recalled correctly, though he had the odd tendancy to destroy any potion he came in contact with, for not definable reason. She had come to the conclusion that he lost attention easily and as such, put in the wrong ingredient, or put in too much of it. Still, it didn't mean he couldn't help her carry boxes the short way over to the potion store, even an idiot could do that, but her arms were shaking and she was tired from the trek up to the dungeons. What a stupid place to put the potions... the idiot students who blew up their potions would bring the whole school down with them.
"Excuse me, Mr Galante," She called out to him, a little puffed out, "Could you help me for a moment please? I would be very greatful" God, her arms were shaking now, they were starting to feel weak and she wasn't exactly weak.

(( Sorry, just jumping in here omo ))

In the midst of drifting off for a nice little nap, Raivis looked up when he heard the door open, and glanced over. He soon heard his name being called, and then his assistance was requested. Oh, well, that couldn't hurt- after all, that box didn't look like it was that heavy, she probably wanted him to hold it for her! ...Then again, why would a big, strong-seeming professor like Professor Kirkland need his help, anyway? ...Perhaps there was something evil and dangerous in the box, and that wasn't actually Professor Kirkland, but an evil, Dark Wizard coming to-

Raivis shook his head and tried to stop his wandering imagination as he slid off the bed and scurried over to help her with whatever she needed(he was assuming now she wanted him to hold the box, which had a demon inside, which she was going to attempt to vanquish and would probably miss and kill Raivis instead-). Raivis looked at the box with an almost haunted look on his face, pretty sure he was paling at it, imagining what evil things could lie within it...but, no, he had to be a good student and help her,
"D-do you need me to take that for you?" he asked her, staring at it, watching for any movement. Maybe...just maybe, she hated him! Because he wasn't a great student in her class(it wasn't as if he tried to be a failure, in fact quite the opposite, but luck was never on his side and he had a hard time concentrating), so maybe she was plotting to get rid of him with this box of...of doom. He swallowed and prepared to take it.

(( Hallo! Hope you don't mind me jumping in ))

One Maria Beilschmidt was extremely bored. Not that this wasn't usual with the self-declared Prussian--she was bored almost every single day. The freshmen were too boring to toy with. The lake and grindylows were no longer as intriguing as they once were. No one was near the level of awesome for her to speak with (except for a few but she wanted to meet someone new). The castle wasn't mysterious anymore for her to explore (though it was mostly because one of the many passageways in the castle would not open for her once and allowed a teacher to catch her past curfew). Homework was a last resort and one she never even considered using.

Maria noted was she becoming oddly pessimistic.

With a determined huff, she pulled herself out of the armchair and straightened her back. She was not going to fall victim to boredom and its clutches today! She was going to do something awesome, something extraordinary, something--

"Hey did you hear about that Hufflepuff first year transfer student that crashed into the wall?"

--like visiting Raivis in the Hospital Wing and helping them recover using the power of her awesomeness (she admitted that sounded a little stupid in her mind).

Maria strode out of the common room, walking at a brisk pace to the Hospital Wing. The door was already ajar when she approached the entrance and she only pushed it wider to emphasize her entrance.
"Hey Rai-Rai--" she started, but blinked when she noticed the potions professor about to hand something heavy to the smaller Hufflepuff. Judging by how the professor was shaking, the box must've been heavy--way too heavy for someone like Raivis to carry.

"I don't zink he vill be able to handle zat," was the first thing that came out of her mouth.

She looked over when the German girl spoke. Ms Maria, a bit of a slacker, as far as she remembered. She huffed, a little frustrated and frankly, tired. "Well somebody please hold it for a moment." He lowered it in to Raivis's arms and lessened her hold on the box, to see if he could hold it, even for a moment so she could stretch her arms and open the door to the potions store. "I've brought them all the way up to the hospital wing, surely he can keep them up for a few minutes." She said indignantly. She was just trying to do her job.

(( Fff- short ))
