[[CLOSED]] A Chaosing We Go [ZAMAN]

Boredom permeated her mind as she walked through the halls. The poltergeist hadn't really done much recently, and it was a bit too normal for Mei. It was nice once in a while, but really, it had been too long since she had seen a decent prank. As much as she loved carrying them out, and watching; she wasn't so good at coming up with ideas behind them. In that way, she somewhat failed as a Slytherin, but it was alright. Maybe she'd stick with the old attacking people with random hexes out of no where and taking photos, but where would be the fun in that?

She wandered through the corridor, hoping to come across someone who had a good reputation with these pranks - or at the very least, a hidden genius willing to collaborate with her on her quest to make school much more exciting.

Mei walked into someone amidst her thoughts, and hearing something fall, she quickly turned around. "Oh, uh hey you! Are you okay?"

It was a boring day. There seemed like nothing good to do, and Zaman's head was empty of any ideas. He wandered the halls, looking for inspiration, someone who provided an outlet for his pranking skills, anything, anyone. It was a rarity when the Maldivian simply had...nothing. Usually there was a sticky note or two with an unused ideas for these sort of days, but nothing. They were all burnt after they were used on multiple days, and nothing had come up as of late. So, simply nothing. No afternoons in the library, and he was not going to do the homework in his room. A guy like him just didn't do that kind of stuff like a proper person. So, he continued walking aimlessly, until tripped. On nothing.

His body hit the floor with a painful smack. Whose idea was it to make these floors marble? Oh right, ancient school. Marble floors.

"Urgh..." He pulled himself up, as a girl noticed his graceful fall and turned to ask him if he was alright. Looking up at the Asian, he nodded and rubbed his head "Just a fall..." He looked behind him "...on nothing. Anyway, I should be fine." He nodded.

She smiled, this guy looked pretty interesting. Besides the fact he tripped on thin air, he looked like he could conspire with her. She pulled him up, and grinned. "Well, it's good you're okay! What's your name? I'm Wan-Mei Chen, Slytherin Fourth Year!" She leaned against the wall, hoping this guy had some prank ideas or at least an idea of what they could /possibly/ do.

"It's been really quiet lately, I haven't been able to think up any good pranks or carry any good ones out! And I'm incredibly bored right now!" The walls seemed to taunt her as she slid down and sat on the floor. Maybe she could charm those torches over there or something. Fire was a nice thing, when it burned other people.

She looked at the boy. He was cute in that brother sense. His hair was pretty long, though still shorter than hers, and he seemed to be of a normal build. She looked him up and down before deciding she would spend time with this kid.

He felt himself getting pulled up, and Zaman thanked the Slytherin, a sheepish look on his face. "Erm, thanks. I'm Zaman Abasolo, fourth year Gryffindor." He regained his balance properly, and brushed his pants off. Looking at Mei, he made an amused hum. She seemed the impish type- maybe she'd give him an idea or two. As if by magic, then, she started complaining about being bored, and about how she didn't have any ideas for pranks.

"You also like pranks?" He asked, a tad excited "I was thinking about wanting to do one, but all the ideas I've had I've already used, and I can't think of anything. We should think of something together" He proposed "It'd be pretty interesting to see what we come up with." Yes, now he had something to do! Two heads /are/ better than one, after all, and  slowly, ideas began to creep into his head. Ideas that were too complicated to do alone- with Mei's help, they could do some pretty amazing practical jokes.

Zaman, that seemed like a nice name that could generate a good many nick names. Manza, Namaz, Alakazam...ZAMBONI! Yes, that's what she'd call him. She grinned at him as she listened to his voice introduce himself.

Suddenly, she sensed the excitement in his voice, after hearing that she liked pranks. After proposing that they do something together, she found herself on her heels, nodding frantically. It would indeed be very interesting to see what they did come up with. After all, two bored children with a love for pranks wasn't something to be taken lightly.

Mei saw the wheels start turning in his head. Her grin growing wider, she spoke, "What do you propose we do? I say we do something along this hallway, it's a rather busy one when it's actually being put to use!"

She could tell that this was going to be a rather unforgettable prank.

Zaman pondered for a few minutes before finally getting an idea- and what an idea it was! "We should, when the hallway is full of students, have a huge gust of wind blow through and knock everyone's stuff out of their hands!" Zaman had a habit of doing pranks that tended to waste class time. Who wanted to be stuck in boring classes for hours?

"So, everyone would be busy picking through the books and papers for their things and classes would be delayed" He concluded "How does that sound?"

The Maldivian began to think, without even waiting for an answer from the Slytherin, how exactly they could do this. Classically, you'd do a prank in the same room as the victim, but make the effort not to be noticed at all. Zaman had a different approach to this- why not try to activate the prank from a different location? It made the whole event more complicated to handle, but hey, no one would be able to see that you were the one who did it. Or at least, that's how Zaman thought it would be.

A delighted squeal made its way out of her throat when she heard Zaman's plan. Her next class was Herbology, and she'd be more that pleased to have that class delayed. Of course they'd have to succeed in their prank first, but no big deal. Of course they'd have to make sure that they weren't caught. But that wouldn't be too hard if they did this from another room of some sorts, or hid themselves in this hallway carefully - though truth be told there wasn't much to hide in.

"Mmm we have about 5-10 minutes to prepare this prank before the hallways flood so we should probably move fast. I also don't think we should stick around here and perform the prank while hiding, since there's absolutely no where to hide."

"Five to ten minutes?" He exclaimed "That is meant to fail." Zaman looked at her firmly in the eye "This cannot be done today. We have research, planning, check the hallways..." These were all routine things he always did for any prank, so he didn't think much of it "If we want the maximum effect, it's got to be done right!" The Maldivian insisted. "It might be boring, but I'd rather wait than get in trouble from a failed prank" These things, he felt, were important things to consider when doing a prank.

"I'm guessing we can do this at the exact time as now tomorrow" Zaman nodded "That'll be plenty of time, right?" Two days? Hm, that might be too much unless they were considering a prank encompassing a bigger area than the hallway they were currently targeting. Oh, pranks. So simple yet stupidly complicated at the same time. Or at least, that's what Zaman made them out to be.

Seeing the boy look her firmly in the eye, solidified the fact that he was completely serious. But thinking about it now, five to ten minutes probably wasn't enough time for a corridor such as this. It was somewhat touching that a Gryffindor would care so much about a prank though, but it was all in good fun. Listening to him insist on the right effect brought a grin to Mei's face.

"Sure, why not?" she replied, after hearing when he wanted to do it. It didn't seem like she had much of a choice in the matter either way. "So, are you against skipping class to plan for this, or do you have a free block later on, or should we meet up at night?" If she was going to do the prank with Zaman, she'd have to figure out her schedule first, and work around it to get this done.

"Hm, lets skip class." He nodded "We can pretend we're in a free block or on a research trip" Though, the main reason Zaman decided this choice would be the best was because of the thrill one could get when skipping classes. It felt pretty awesome. And anyway, he hadn't felt like going to class at all today, so it hit two birds with one stone.

"Or we could just meet up after school." If you wanted to be boring and not miss your classes or be at risk of getting in trouble, of course. Zaman preferred to not be boring, but Mei...hm, who knows. Nevertheless, she was slowly earning Zaman's approval.

Hearing his decision to skip class brightened Mei's day. Herbology could wait for another day, this was more important, and pretending was relatively fun. Meeting after school was relatively inconvenient as well, as it involved a trip to the kitchens, and finishing up stray bits of homework. Realizing she hadn't given him any sort of reply other than the possible stupid grin making its way onto her face. The sun from the window shined into her face, as she nodded.

"Let's just skip class, Herbology isn't my favorite subject in the world, and I'd rather not suffer through it today!" Checking the time, there was about one more minute before the hallways would once again be flooded with the throng of students making their way to class. "Might I suggest we make our way somewhere else, or shall we just stay here?"

This prank was going to turn out just great!
